EPL table after yesterday’s games as Man united, Chelsea and Arsenal all won

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur fell to a shock defeat yesterday when they traveled to the Palace staduim to play Patrick Viera’s Crystal Palace.

The first half of the game was goalless but a shambolic second half showing from the Tottenham saw Crystal Palace claim a 3-0 win as goals from Wilfred Zaha and Odsonne Edouard (brace) halted Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the season.

Arsenal vs Norwich city

Arsenal arrested their winless start to the season with a victory over Norwich city on Saturday at the Emirates stadium.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang controversially bundled in the ball deep into the second half to hand the Gunners their first league win of the season.

Leicester city vs Man city

Leicester city suffered defeat when they hosted Manchester city at the King Power staduim yesterday’s afternoon.

The foxes matched Pep Guardiola’s side for long periods in the game, but fell to an unlucky 1-0 defeat as Bernardo Silva poked in a goal in the 62nd minute after Kasper Smeichiel had intially saved out Joao Cancelo’s long range strike.

Manchester united vs Newcastle

Manchester united secured a superb win over Newcastle united on Saturday afternoon in a highly anticipated premier league clash.

Cristiano Ronaldo marked his return to Old trafford with a brace while Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard were also on target as Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s men sealed a 4-1 win over their opponents.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa

Chelsea continued their fine unbeaten start to the season with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon at the Stamford bridge staduim.

The blues were very clinical on the afternoon as Romelu Lukaku marked his second home debut with a brace either side of a fine goal from Matteo Kovacic as Chelsea returned to winning ways.

Here’s how the Epl table currently looks like

Manchester united sit above Chelsea on the table despite both teams being level on points and goals difference. Defending champions Manchester city have also climbed up 3rd place on the table following their slender 1-0 Victory over Leicester city.

Brighton and London side Spurs complete the top 5 teams on table while Arsenal move out of the relegation zone into 16th place following their first win of the season
